It's a funny story.... Why is her name Charlotte Quinn? Well, her dam Fable had been AI'd to both Agape's Prize Sulaymaan Quinn AND Better Wayz Augustus. The night she was born I had been convinced that both her and her brother were sired by the same buck (Sulaymaan) so I went ahead and registered her before getting DNA back. The reasoning I was confident was because Augustus carried swiss - not buckskin whereas Sully carried buckskin. I had thought this little doeling was 100% buckskin meaning Sully was sire. The next morning (after I had already registered her), I took another look at her and realized that she wasn't 100% buckskin... she was a buckskin/swiss combo. What does that mean? That means Sully couldn't be her sire. Fable is buckskin carrying black so the fact that she was a swiss combo clearly pointed fingers the other way. ADGA wouldn't allow me to ammend her name unfortunately, so my punishment for being impatient and not waiting is that Charlotte's name is stuck Charlotte Quinn. Another lesson learned for me lol
